Colour splash is one of our popular photo effects. It is when a photograph is converted into black and white, except for one area or object that is left in full colour to give a striking effect. Colour splash works well when your image has a vibrant colour (usually a single colour) that stands out from the rest of the image. Colour splash is a stylish and contemporary way of presenting your photographs in a different perspective. Colour splash may not work well with colours close to shades of black and white, for example a cream colour jumper will not stand out in the black and white background.
