Canvas and Quality

What Canvas do you use?

We print your photos onto a high quality satin cotton white artist's canvas (350gsm). This canvas provides high detail and rich contrast (compared to matte canvas) to help show off your photo in the best possible manner.

What types of frames do you use?

Our canvas frames are handmade from kiln dried fir, each one is crafted to your canvas specifications.
Our stretcher frames are 1.5" (4cm) deep.

What type of Inks do you use?

We use several Epson 9800 large format printers, with specially formulated K3 Ultrachrome inks. These provide a fantastic gamut (colour) range, deep blacks and are rated at being lightfast in normal viewing conditions for over 70 years.

Do you protect your canvases?

All of our canvas prints are coated with a Satin-Matte laminate finish. This stops the photo scratching, scuffing or cracking as well as adding a UV protective layer on top of the image. UV protection is essential to ensure that your canvas doesn't fade over time. Finally the coating allows you to dust/wipe the canvas with a damp cloth for cleaning purposes.

Are your Canvases ready to hang?

Canvases come ready to hang and if you don't have hangers at home you can purchase a canvas hanger kit during order checkout so you can display your work of art as soon as it is delivered.

Do you offer a rolled service?

Yes we do offer a rolled service. The canvas will be rolled and sent to you, without being framed.
